New customers who are unsatisfied with their VPS service may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of their initial order date. This guarantee applies to your first service term only.

The money-back guarantee is designed for customers who genuinely try the service and find it doesn’t meet their needs — not as a mechanism for free service usage followed by a refund.

02 Eligibility for Refunds

A refund may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • 30-Day Guarantee: First-time purchase refunded within 30 days of the order date.
  • Service Failure: ZenVPS fails to provision your VPS within a reasonable timeframe and cannot resolve the issue.
  • Significant Downtime: Extended, unresolved outages caused by ZenVPS infrastructure that materially impact your use.
  • Billing Error: You were charged an incorrect amount or charged after cancellation.

03 Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Domain Names: Domain registrations and transfers are non-refundable once processed.
  • Renewal Charges: Monthly or annual renewal charges after the initial 30-day period.
  • Policy Violations: No refund is issued if your account is suspended for violating our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Partial Month Refunds: We do not issue pro-rata refunds for mid-cycle cancellations beyond the 30-day window.
  • Add-On Services: Any third-party add-ons or one-time setup fees.
  • Significant Usage: Refunds may be denied if the VPS shows heavy usage inconsistent with a genuine evaluation.

04 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  • Contact our billing team at [email protected].
  • Include your account email address and order/invoice number.
  • Briefly describe the reason for your request.
  • Submit within the eligible timeframe (30 days for new customers).

Our billing team will review and respond within 2 business days.

05 Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase.
  • Credit/debit card refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • ZenVPS does not issue refunds via wire transfer or cryptocurrency unless that was the original payment method.

Once a refund is approved and your VPS is cancelled, all server data will be permanently deleted. Please back up any important data before requesting a refund.

06 Chargebacks

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without first contacting ZenVPS support may result in immediate account suspension, reporting to fraud prevention services, and ineligibility for future ZenVPS services.

Please contact us first — we resolve billing disputes fairly and promptly.

07 Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your client portal before the next renewal date. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period (unless within the 30-day window). Your VPS remains active until the end of the paid period, then is terminated and data is deleted.
